The first week of my Wild Rose 12 Day Herbal D-Tox was surprisingly uneventful. At the least, I expected a minor healing crisis as my internal organs cleansed. For the most part, I have not experienced any of the suggested reactions: increased bowel activity and urination, mild feelings of nausea, mild headache and other flu-like symptoms, muscle aching, irritability, or an existing condition (such as a skin problem or arthritis) may initially get worse before it gets better.
I have remained relatively active while on this cleanse, which has resulted in some mild fatigue. I have conditioned my body to fuel itself on fruits and grains for energy, two forms of carbohydrates that I was required to reduce my intake of. This has caused some depleted energy, but nothing substantial. It should be noted, that this cleanse, combined with a relatively high level of exercise, has also resulted in several pounds of weight loss. This cleanse has proved to be rather mild and easy to follow. It would be a good initial cleanse for anyone interested in beginning a cleansing program. With 2 days remaining, I would be surprised to experience any sudden changes. I do hope that this cleanse has prepared my body to function optimally for my upcoming 12 week diet and fitness challenge.
